🔐 How We Guarantee Randomness

EasySpinWheel does not use the standard Math.random() function found in most spinning wheel apps. Instead, every spin is powered by crypto.getRandomValues() — a cryptographically secure random number generator built into all modern browsers.

This function draws entropy from high-entropy OS sources — including hardware timings, mouse movements, and keyboard delays — making results genuinely unpredictable and impossible to manipulate.

The secure random number drives the entire physics simulation of the spin — not just the winner selection. This means the outcome is baked into the physics from the moment you hit Spin.

🤔 Why Did I Get the Same Result Twice?

This is completely normal — and actually proof that the randomness is working correctly.

Think of it like flipping a fair coin. Getting "Heads" three times in a row is entirely possible. Each spin is a completely independent event. Past results have zero influence on future spins.

The wheel has no memory. It does not track previous outcomes or try to "balance" results. This is what true randomness means.

If you want to prevent repeat winners, use the 🗑 Remove button after each spin, or enable Auto-remove winner in the controls below the wheel.

AI calls go directly from your browser to Anthropic's API using your own key. We never see your prompts or results. You can clear all local data anytime in ⚙️ Settings → Reset Everything.

Add EasySpinWheel as a Browser Source in OBS Studio, Streamlabs, or any compatible streaming software.

  1. 1Open OBS Studio and go to your Scene. In the Sources panel, click the + button.
  2. 2Select Browser from the source type list.
  3. 3Paste the Stream URL above into the URL field.
  4. 4Set width to 800 and height to 800 (or match your canvas). Check "Shutdown source when not visible" for performance.
  5. 5Click OK. Position and resize the wheel overlay on your scene.
  6. 6Use this window to control the wheel. When you spin, your stream viewers see it live in the browser source overlay.
